    Great little SLR

    If you can find one for a reasonable price and still enjoy shooting film, this is a great option to mount modern lenses and get modern features. My particular body does seem to have issues recognizing when the lens auto focus is switched back on from manual mode. I am not sure whether or not this is an issue on this particular body or if it is a compatibility issue with newer canon EF lenses.

    a very nice camera

    I bought this camera on ebay for my camera collection. Being used it has a couple of issues that make it unreliable if it were to be used full time.. Since it is only for display, I will not be running any film through it. When this cameras was new, I would give it an A+ rating for size, features , ease of use and looks.

    No money for a dslr yet? Try this first!!!

    This camera is one of the more modern film cameras by Canon. Takes EF lenses; they are relatively affordable here at eBay. The EF 50mm 1.8 is perfect for portrait shots! Gives you a lot of information at the lcd screen, so you can check your settings easily. Personally I like the Ti date version, so it can imprint the dates on my pictures, specially when taking pictures of kids. Most of us already have a point and shoot digital cameras, and want to upgrade eventually to a dslr. While waiting, you can use this camera, take pictures, and take it to your favorite camera shop / drugstore to develop your prints. Just ask for a cd of the pictures. So you now you have both prints and digital copies of the pictures.

    Great Camera Love the ease of use!

    I chose this product because it is easy to use. I learned to use it without reading the manual! I have used mostly digital camera's but as far as a 35mm is concerned it is amazing!
