    Fantastic with a requirement

    Love the lens as its sharper, faster focusing and silent compared the older model that was a screw driven lens. Having the usb dock for the new sigma art lenses is almost a requirement though. My copy does exactly what others have reviewed online with sporadically missing focus despite af fine tuning done in camera body. The dock is said to correctly calibrate these lenses which is fantastic compared to the usual having to send them in to service Other than that I have no quibbles with the lens and can hardly fault it for what I use it for, worth the upgrade, just get the dock as well

    The Sigma 30mm 1.4 Art lens

    Took this lens (along with Pentax K3ii) on a trip to Montreal, and fully utilized the fast glass at f1. 4, which was great.
