I read several reviews and one complaint is that larger tape measures do not fit. This is true, however, I took the belt clip off of my tape measure and used a belt sander to make it a little narrower. Problem solved. It was less than a 1/16" too wide. I used to use a leather holder. It is bigger and more cumbersome. The FastCap holder is much easier to use, it slips on and off of my belt with ease. The tape slips into the slot very easy as well. The included pencil sharpener is a huge bonus, very quickly achieving a sharpened pencil. Don't let the low cost fool you, this is a high quality product. Product was made of sturdy plastic. The belt clip is a little weak. I would probably use this as a shop tool to hang tape up rather than wear it in the field. I found that about half the time That I would reach for the tape that the entire unit came with it. It did not want to stay clipped to me. This was especially so if you are not wearing a belt and clip it onto your pant line or elsewhere. The built in pencil sharpener is only good if you are using a #2 pencil. Tape Measure Holder
This clips to my belt so I may easily access my 30 ft. tape measure. It also has a built in pencil sharpener that has been used on many occasions. It also has a pencil holder spot, but the plastic lacks memory so I've lost many pencils already for lack of sufficient grabbing power. Nevertheless, it is better than using a leather pouch and it saves your belt from overuse.
