Simply to use. Really does a good job for it's size. I have a 1 car garage and was able to get it decently warm after about 20 minutes in pretty cold temps. Easy to light, only took a few tries to get a hang of it. Really performs well and built nice. Always keep a window cracked or garage door cracked if using in garage or shed environment per instructions. This is very comparable to a more expensive brand I have, performs the same. Good value.

My Buddy Heater was nothing but problems... made a whistling sound sometimes for hours on end, sometimes wouldn't light when it was hot and I was changing the propane cans. I would have to wait for it to cool down. And it eventually died after about 6 months of use. This heater is a bit bigger, more heat, but the propane cans don't last quite as long because of the higher heat output. It is not as nice looking as the Buddy Heater and the controls are in the back instead of on top, which is a bit annoying, but still easy to use. BUT, it lights EVERY time and has been very reliable. I would definitely buy this product again.

Got this as a backup heater for our laundry area, which is inside an uninsulated garage, during extremely cold weather (below 0 degrees fahrenheit). We have an electric heater in the area which works well enough above 0 but doesn't when it drops below. A bonus for us is it works with the 1 lb propane gas tanks we use with our portable grill.

The area is approx. 7 ft / m x 12 ft / m and the heater worked well in heating the area up to 45 degrees fahrenheit (-5 degrees outside) by itself set on Max and together with the electric heater when set on Min. So far we've only run it for about an hour on Max, but it's worked with no issues and the tank feels about 3/4 full still.

The only complaint I have is it is a little hard to get the pilot light to ignite sometimes. If it doesn't catch on the first try, it can take two or three more tries to get it to light. Once it is lit and you have the main element lit then it stays running without issue, however.

Final note, the laundry area is a semi-open area inside a drafty garage so it stays pretty well ventilated. If using this in an enclosed area, I would personally make sure to have ventilation as propane does not burn completely clean.

Overall, very happy with performance of this heater.

Ordered for use in a garage without a heater. Excellent item! Well built with quality materials. Heats well and quickly, filling the cold space with warm air, making it comfortable to work on vehicles and other items when it's cold outside. Using a small fan to circulate the hot air quickens things a bit. It's simple to use; propane tanks are a snap to install, it starts and adjusts easily, and just works as it should. The tip-over safety is a nice feature as well. Should be excellent for use in emergency situations as well. Pricing is fair. Recommended.

This Yifoco portable propane heater is what I have been looking to solve a potential emergency and resolve some issues. I have a home that I didn’t choose to install a heater in the garage when the rehab commenced. The rehab went so beautifully that it became a four-season garage now lacking heat. How to solve the issue? This 75,000 BTU Heater does a very nice job of heating a garage that we now use in Winter. I was considering installing a permanent natural gas 85,000 BTU for $2,800 and my wife suggested that we try this 75,000 BTU portable that costs under $100, I guess you know that we really like our cost-effective decision. I can also use it to do spot heating like working outside on an unexpected outdoor repair. Yes, we camp, ice fish and hunt and now we have a very nice, tipped over protected heater Shut-off. We had a scenario that always bothered us after the extreme Winter freeze of two years ago. If both electrical power and gas services “failed” for some reason and it did happen for some, what back up heat source would we use. We have natural Forced Air Gas heat and some electric baseboard in the house, but no fireplace; the answer was a high-output, propane heat source to be able to help keep our home water pipes from freezing and keep us warm in an emergency. This Yifoco Portable Propane Heater, 7500 BTU Heater puts us at ease in the potential of a Winter emergency. Of the five years that we have owned this home, two of the years we had serious reason to prepare given the Winter of 2021 and the previous 2018 Polar Vortex.

Features: A powerful, fully analog, Self-igniting, gas powered heater with low-O2 safety shutoff, adjustable temperate, tip-over protection.

Propane - easy to store and find fuel. I bought 6 propane cylinders and an adapter to transfer propane from the 5 Gal. tanks used for the outside BBQ.

It was so easy to start – Attach propane cylinder. Press down on the knob in the back and flip the ignitor and watch the ignitor flames and warm up, in 15-20 sec. of pushing in the volume knob, release and select the temperature that one desires. We love this heater and have high confidence in it and its brother.
